What an incredible two weekends for Alma Area Little League! Throw your pictures from the weekends into the comments section for all to enjoy!
Over the last two weekends, we successfully hosted 9 different age-group tournaments, welcoming 60 teams to our small communities of Alma and Nelson. None of this happens by accident, and it certainly doesn’t happen without an amazing group of people working together.
A huge THANK YOU goes out to:
⚾ The City of Alma crew, led by Joe Wick and Dave Meier
⚾ Alma Area Schools, with Rob Stewart and Tim Ruff
⚾ The Village of Nelson and Gordy Brommer
⚾ Our dedicated Little League Committee
⚾ The countless families, parents, grandparents, and volunteers who continue to step up year after year to organize, prepare, and execute these events on game day.
The countless hours spent mowing fields, dragging diamonds, preparing concessions, scheduling games, coordinating volunteers, and handling all of the little details create opportunities that go far beyond baseball and softball. They create memories for our local kids and help our entire community thrive.
We’ve heard from several local businesses about the number of teams and families who visited their establishments for meals, drinks, and downtime between games. That has always been one of our goals…… to bring people into our communities and create a positive impact that extends beyond the ballfield.
We view our 2026 tournament season just like the years before it: a tremendous success because of the collaborative effort from so many different people and organizations.
To everyone who provided help, support, donations, volunteered their time, or simply pitched in wherever needed—thank you. These weekends are successful because of you.
Well done, everyone. We couldn’t do it without this community. ❤️⚾🥎
