It’s still riding season in Michigan, friends! Let’s go that extra mile when driving and make sure we are really looking for motorcycles. It’s one thing to say it, but let’s follow through!!
We all know people who ride. The life saved may be someone you care about.
Motorcycle accidents don’t discriminate. Anyone can be hit, and anyone can do the hitting.
Doesn’t matter how prepared you are as a rider, or how long you’ve been riding.
Doesn’t matter how experienced you are at driving. One second of being distracted and not paying attention can kill.
One turn into traffic without taking that extra second to look for a motorcycle hidden behind a street sign, telephone pole, tree, or car can ruin the lives of an entire family. Believe me, I know!
Please take a minute to review our awareness posts from this summer and keep it in the forefront of your mind.
Print one out and put it in your vehicle as a reminder.
Talk to the drivers in your home.
Until we have a serious conversation about these things, nothing will change. Lives will be lost. Families will be destroyed.
