Gratiot County Youth Coalition This campaign encourages Gratiot County Students to stay Above The Influence of illegal substances! You need to make your own best decisions.

Every teen’s life is filled with pressure, some of it good, some of it bad. Our goal is to help teens stand up to negative pressure, or influence. The more aware you are of the types of influence around you, the better prepared you will be to face them, including the pressure to abuse drugs or alcohol. We're not telling you how to live your life, but we are giving you another perspective and the l

atest information. Above the Influence students would like to focus on the fact that most teens are not abusing drugs or alcohol. The majority of us are choosing to accomplish our goals and have our dreams become reality. This does not mean that we are not faced with challenges and temptations. We all have tough choices to make and these choices often times define who we are and what we will become. We encourage all parents/guardians to talk to their teens and their teens friends about the challenges they’ll face and your perspective on drugs, alcohol and other topics alike. You may not think we are listening but when we are out with our friends, we hear your voices of love and compassion. Help us live above the influence.
