By giving a gift of grain through the Alma Area Foundation on Alma Match Day, you avoid including the sale of grain in your farm income, but you still deduct the cost of growing the crops, which typically results in savings on your taxes. PLUS, you can receive a match on your donation to benefit the Alma community. All gifts of grain mustbe completed at least one week before Match Day. Did you know you can donate stock on Alma Match Day and receive the match? Call 785-587-8995 and speak to Marla to get started today! These types of donations must be completed at least one week before match day, meaning gifts of stock must be processed by August 19th.
