Alma Lodge first came to Alma officially on January 15, 1868 "Under Dispensation" from the Grand Lodge of Michigan, as a one year test to see if Masonry would be effective in working with the men in Alma to promote the community and make it a place for families to prosper.

Child I.D. this Friday at Masonic Pathways Doig Chapel 4 to 8 pm followed by a free Movie courtesy of Masonic Pathways with other activities including a old Tyme Car Show Over 100 vehicles registered so far. Come out and see these great vehicles.

The fourth Wed of Sept and Oct there will be degree work beginning at 7pm. The last SATURDAY of November (29th) will be a MM degree at 8am with Dinner following. Check the September posting for any changes or updates.

Does anyone know how to STOP of Shut off the Games section of Facebook. I dislike having to go through and shut each one down and now I can't even do that. I don't want that feature, I use Facebook to keep in touch with Friends and Family and members of the Lodge. I do NOT want anything to do with the Games stuff.

Looking forward to Tuesday and our rehearsal for the MM degree to be held on the 26th. 3 new MM's that night. AND Wednesday the 19th is our Masonic Family Dinner for all Masons and families. We do need reservations if you plan on attending. Cost $6.00 and a St. Patrick's Day theme. Email me to the Lodge if you're going to be present for the dinner. Thanks.

Last Wednesday, Chef Dawn prepared an outstanding dinner for our Masonic Family, The OES, the Lodge, The Royal Arch and Royal & Select Masons. Unfortunately due to unknown reasons we had a small turnout but we almost took in enough to cover the costs. A Great time was had by those present. Thanks Brothers and Sisters.

To the Alma High School Jazz Band, you were phenomenal at the Alma Masonic Lodge dinner and Entertainment on January 22, 2014. What a pleasure it was to have such a great group of young people with their parents and Band Boosters attend this presentation.
Our Dinner guests are still raving about how great you were. Thanks to the Band Director, the Band Members and families for attending this great event for Alma Masonic Lodge.
We're counting down to February 2018 when we met officially for the first time in Alma, just 146 years ago this year and 150 years ago in 2018.

This Wednesday, Jan. 15th we hold an EA Rehearsal. Then Wed the 22 we have our Masonic Family Dinner with the OES, Chapter and Council of York Rite. EA degree on Wed. Jan 29th. The first of 6 months of Alma's year will be something EVERY week. So keep tuned to this space.
