Alma Troop 610, Alma Troop 611, Alma Crew 612 and Alma Cub Scout Pack #3610 participated in yesterday. It is a good opportunity at the end of the year to honor those who served and remember that our ability to freely celebrate comes with a price. Thank you to all who served. All gave some. The scouts have been working on game design for the last few weeks. They talked about what makes a good game, looked at examples of good and bad games, then worked as patrols to develop their own. The final result was getting to play the other patrol's game. It was a success and the troop has some new games to play. It's always fun to see the scouts working together and having fun!

Scouts had orientation and swim tests. Then set up camp. There was some downtime before opening flag and dinner. Tonight they will have the opening fire bowl.
They all are excited and ready for a great week at camp!

Alma Elks Lodge #1400’s Field of Honor. Alma Troops 610 and Alma Troop 611 were on hand to assist with the event. They also had T609 and Girl Scout troops 50649 and 50025 present. This is a great event honoring the sacrifices of veterans, first responders, and more.
