It’s time to celebrate the amazing people who make Gratiot County 4-H special!

Nominations for the Gratiot County 4-H Awards are officially open, and we want to hear from YOU about the youth, families, volunteers, and supporters who go above and beyond.

Who Can Nominate? Anyone involved in our 4-H family can submit a nomination! Nominations may be made by:
4-H Youth
4-H Parents
4-H Volunteers/Leaders
4-H Family Members

And yes…you can even nominate yourself! You know best about the hard work, growth, leadership, and accomplishments you’ve put into your 4-H journey. Don’t be afraid to tell your story!

Whether someone has demonstrated outstanding leadership, gone above and beyond as a volunteer, supported 4-H in countless ways, or made an incredible impact through their participation, we want to recognize them.

The deadline to submit nominations is September 13th.

Following the nomination period, an Awards Banquet will be held in October, where we will come together as a 4-H community to celebrate the incredible people who help make Gratiot County 4-H stronger. Take a moment to think about the people who have made a difference in your 4-H experience. Nominate someone who deserves to be recognized—or nominate yourself at https://bit.ly/26AwardNominations

Let’s make sure the people who make Gratiot County 4-H amazing get the recognition they deserve!

Our next 4-H Council Meeting is Monday August 31st. at 7pm at the Gratiot MSU Extension Office. We would LOVE to see more faces join us.

The Gratiot 4-H Council plays an important role in supporting our local 4-H program, helping create opportunities and experiences that make a difference for youth throughout the county. This is a great opportunity to share your ideas, lend your talents, support our volunteers and families, and help build a strong and thriving 4-H program for our youth.

Adult Council Positions
There will be 3 vacant adult positions available on the Gratiot 4-H Council. Adult representatives serve a two-year term and help provide leadership and support for the county 4-H program.
Teen Representatives

Youth Council Positions
We are also looking for up to 7 teen representatives, ages 13–19, to serve on the council. This is a wonderful leadership opportunity for teens who want to have a voice in their 4-H program, share ideas, and help create fun and meaningful opportunities for other youth.
Whether you're a parent, volunteer, 4-H supporter, or a teen looking to grow your leadership skills, we would love to have you consider joining us!

Want your name on the ballot? Contact Ashley Foster at 989-875-5295 or [email protected] to learn more and express your interest.

Your voice matters. Your ideas matter. And together, we can continue building a strong Gratiot County 4-H program for our youth!

Gratiot County 4-H is excited to host our 2nd Annual Community Frenzy on Sunday, September 20, from 2–4 p.m. at the Gratiot County Fair for Youth Fairgrounds!

This FREE community event is a fun-filled afternoon designed to bring youth, families, and our community together to experience what 4-H is all about.
