Important Update: Allyn Urban Growth Area Meeting Rescheduled!
We want to inform you that the Allyn Urban Growth Area Zoning and Development Regulations meeting has been rescheduled. The new date and time are:
When: February 27, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: Port of Allyn Meeting Room
This meeting is a vital opportunity to provide your input in person as Mason County works on reviewing and updating the Comprehensive Plan. This update, mandated by the State Growth Management Act, is an important process for shaping the future development of the Allyn Urban Growth Area (UGA).
The Mason County Comprehensive Plan is due for an update in 2025. The County is actively reviewing and revising the plan, with a draft expected in June 2025 and final adoption by December 2025. Your feedback and involvement during these meetings are crucial to ensure the Allyn community’s needs and vision are represented.

Upcoming Meeting Announcement: Allyn Urban Growth Area Input
Mason County is hosting two meetings as part of the 2025 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update, providing an opportunity for community members to share their input on the Allyn Urban Growth Area. This is a vital chance to shape the future of our community.
📅 Date: February 6th and February 13th
📍 Location: Port of Allyn
🕒 Time: on the 6th from 2:00-4:00 pm/ on the 13th 6-8pm
Your voice matters! Attend to provide feedback and help guide the growth and development of Allyn. For more details, see the official announcement or contact Mason County's planning department.

🎉 Kids Zone at the Brats & Brew Festival! 🎉
Bring the whole family out to the Brats & Brew Festival on Saturday, October 5 at Bent Bine Brewery! We’ve got an exciting Kids Zone planned from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM hosted by Grass Roots Learning and Unity Gymnastics! 🎈
👧🧑 Activities include:
Pretzel Necklace Making Station 🥨
Scarecrow Crafts Station 🎨
Play-Doh Station 🎭
Bouncing House 🏰
Gymnastics Area 🤸
Photo Booth for memories 📸
Entry is $20, and kids under 12 are FREE! 🍿 Hot dogs, popcorn, soft drinks, and water will be available for the little ones.
🍂 And of course, the main event for the grown-ups: delicious brats and refreshing Oktoberfest beer! 🍻

Get ready for an unforgettable celebration of Oktoberfest at the Brats and Brew Festival on Saturday, October 5th, from 3:00 to 9:00 PM at Bent Bine Brewery in Belfair, WA! Hosted by the North Mason Chamber, Allyn Community Association, and Bent Bine Brewery, this inaugural event will be packed with fun for the whole family.
Join us under the festive Oktoberfest beer tent, indulge in delicious brats at the food station, and bring the kids to enjoy the Kids Zone! From 3:00 to 5:00 Bavarian Beer Games, Heartland Rockers and Kid Zone activities. At 6:00 PM, the Bavarian Beer Garden Band will take the stage, filling the air with lively traditional Oktoberfest music.
Admission is just $20 and includes a special inaugural festival pin. Kids under 12 get in free! Convenient parking is available at the Masonic Lodge and Chamber/Windermere buildings and remember, Belfair is a very walkable town with plenty of sidewalks.

🍻 North Mason Brats & Brews Oktoberfest – October 5th! 🍻
Get your lederhosen and dirndls ready because the inaugural North Mason Brats & Brews Oktoberfest is coming to Bent Bine Brewery in Belfair on October 5th, 2024! This will be an unforgettable celebration of German food, beer, music, and more – you won’t want to miss it!
🎶 Kick-off at 3 PM with beer tent games, a children’s area, live music, and food.
🎉 Main Event at 6 PM: The Bavarian Beer Garden Band takes the stage with traditional Oktoberfest sing-alongs and festive fun – transforming Belfair into a mini Munich!
🍻 Food & Drinks: Savor delicious brats, sauerkraut, hamburgers, German chocolate cake, and more tasty treats!
🎫 Tickets: $20 (includes a commemorative Oktoberfest pin – be part of history at this first-ever event!)
