Friends of the Rodman Library The purpose of The Friends of the Rodman Library is to satisfy the needs of the Library by fundraising and volunteer workers.

The Friends of the Rodman Library sponsors the Annual Used Book Sale during Carnation Week every August. The great success of the book sale each year is due to the dedication and hard work of our Friends volunteers.

🎉It's National Volunteer Week!!🎉 We would like to THANK all of our volunteers that make what we do possible! What we do is say YES to distributing funds raised throughout the year to our wonderful library staff. They take those funds and create magical worlds full of fun for our patrons. We couldn't do any of that without our backbone, our volunteers! From sorting books all year to helping at the book sale, our volunteers show up and get the job done. Every one of them deserves a joyous round of applause! 👏

They will donate 25% of your bill to us!! It's that easy and that yummy! If you're ordering online for pickup please use code A7TFGJQ at checkout. Delivery orders and gift cards do not count towards our fundraiser. Oh my gosh, what a day!! Thank you all for coming out and supporting us! So many books went out the door to happy patrons excited to get a "new to them" book or ten. We even sold out of our sweet treats baked lovingly by our board members and volunteers. It was a special day and we loved seeing everyone! See you in August when we have our Giant Book Sale for Carnation Days!! ❤️📚

📣Our One-Day Only used book sale and bake sale is tomorrow Saturday, March 28!! 📣 Our sale will be taking place in the children's program room at the Main Library from 11 am. to 3:30 pm. You don't need a membership, this sale is open to anyone in Alliance and the surrounding communities. See our flyer below for a list of book categories that will be available.
