Washington Ruritans

Washington Ruritans Washington Ruritans is a community service organization located in Washington Twp Alliance, OH, dedicated to making our community a better place to live.

The club meets once a month (every fourth Monday except May & December) at various local churches. The club presently has over 79 projects that focus on Washington Township, Marlington School District and the greater Alliance area. Projects are financed by proceeds from aluminum recycling, Ruritan food trailer at various events, annual breakfast, Beechwood Chicken and Biscuit Dinner, Taste of Alli

ance and other events put on by the members of the club. The Washington Ruritan Club is divided into five service committees. Each committee has its own project list and budget. The five committees are: Business & Professions, Citizenship & Patriotism, Environment, Public Service and Social Development.
