❤️📚🚂 Good morning, Alliance! Happy Saturday! ☀️

It’s been so much fun rediscovering Alliance alongside all of you! The more stories I hear and the more history I uncover, the more I realize how much there is to learn about our little city. ❤️

So, naturally, I had to get myself a book to expand my knowledge! 📚

Who else has read this one?!? Tell me what you think! And if you have any other books, stories, or local history recommendations, send them my way! I’m ready to learn! 🥰❤️

Today was a good day at The Commons! ❤️

We had a couple of projects on the agenda, including rolling silverware and putting together pancake blessing bags. And let me tell you, we had the absolute A-TEAM today! These ladies and gentlemen were incredible to work alongside. Good people, good work, and a whole lot of heart. 🥞❤️

Want to get involved? You can volunteer every Thursday from 1:30–2:30 PM at The Commons!

I learned a lot about the Sew 4 Service program here. Can’t wait to make a post about that as well! And I bought a really great hat from their volunteers!

Sometimes the smallest acts of service make the biggest difference. Come lend a hand, meet some wonderful people, and be part of something good happening right here in our community. ❤️

Rick texted me this morning with an idea for the Downtown Christmas display.

The funny part? Our ideas were SO close. 😂

Unfortunately for Rick, he made the mistake of texting me about CHRISTMAS before 9 AM.

He got the full force of my golden retriever Christmas energy this morning. 🐕🎄✨

Poor Rick. 😂

But also… THIS IS EXACTLY WHY WE LOVE DOWNTOWN. When people start throwing ideas around and dreaming together, the magic gets really good. ❤️

Please drop your favorite memories of the holidays in Downtown! ⬇️🎄✨
