SPARK graduation is one of our favorite moments. We get to see all of our friends moving on to kindergarten and congratulate them and their families for their accomplishments. Thank you Refuge of Hope for generously providing snacks for the Community Movie last night: Zootopia 2. 🎥 🍿

A big shout out to Refuge of Hope for coming to The Alliance Commons to provide snacks and share their mission with us for our children’s author event and city wide movie last night. It was such a great evening.

Congratulations to Early Childhood Education Alliance, who recently received a grant from GAF! 🎉

The funds used from this grant will be used to support payroll expenses so ECEA can continue providing professional development opportunities for Alliance area early childhood centers, deliver programming through SPARK, and strengthen services for the community's most at risk children.

Today is the annual backpack 🎒 giveaway. ECEA, along with several organizations, will be at the Alliance Friends Church until 2 PM today giving away backpacks and back to school supplies. 📚 ✏️ 📏 This event is unique in that school supplies are distributed based on the child’s grade level and what the school supply list includes.
Each year, we start off with a pre-event morning huddle to pray for our children and community. This event is a blessing for the community and the volunteers. It is one of our most favorite, and important events because it allows us to ensure the children enter school with their school supplies in hand. When external barriers to accessing education are addressed, children thrive.
