Animals are wonderful reading 📖 companions. Sometimes, they are just as curious about the SPARK books as our little learners. While Wrenly reads her book, her cat Pippin enjoys posing! ECEA is excited to be part of this work!

Early Childhood Resource Center staff, board members, the Sisters of Charity Health System, and partners joined together on May 19 at the Hall of Fame Village in Canton to kick off the SPARK Ohio Strategic Planning Initiative.

This work moves us forward as we continue to provide free in-home learning and family support for children as they prepare for kindergarten across Ohio.

With support from Go Grow, we are building the next phase of SPARK to strengthen early learning and help every child start school ready to succeed.

During the Commons Literacy Hour, children learned about germs 🦠 and the importance of hand washing today. They made germ art and received books. This was all made possible through the Reed Fund and the generosity of donors. Thank you.

ECEA has been doing a Literacy Hour every Thursday at 3:30 for the community children at the Alliance Commons. Prior to class, Ms. Kim and Mr. Cam were having a little Devo fun with the toys in the room and Ms. Liz happened to capture the magic on video. Work is never boring with this AWESOME team! They make learning fun!
