Cub Scout Family Pack 2050

Today our Pack and Scouting America Troop 50 had the honor of participating in the Memorial Day parade. Our Scouts showed up, represented Scouting proudly, and did an awesome job. We are so proud of each one of them for taking time to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Last Monday, our Scouts also had the privilege of placing over 1,000 flags on veterans’ graves throughout the Alliance Cemetery. This has become one of the Scouts’ favorite events each year as we take time to remember and honor the men and women who served our country.

Happy Memorial Day, and thank you to all who have served and sacrificed so much for our freedom. 🇺🇸

We had a wonderful Rank Advancement Ceremony and Arrow of Light Crossover! 🎉

Our Cub Scouts worked incredibly hard all year to earn their ranks, and it truly showed. From learning new skills to making memories along the way, it’s been such a fun and rewarding scouting year for everyone involved.

A special congratulations to our Arrow of Light Scouts as they cross over into the troop. We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what you do next!

We’re looking forward to a summer full of fun and adventure. ☀️

The Cubs had a wonderful time racing at our Pinewood Derby! We saw so many fun and creative cars this year, and the sportsmanship and overall Scout spirit were truly outstanding.
Thank you to everyone who came out to participate, cheer, help set up, and stay to break everything down. We couldn’t do it without our amazing parents, leaders, and, of course, our Cubs. What a great event! 🏁💙

Pack 50 was proudly represented at the Sandy Beaver District Race today by Tiger Scout Steven Bane and Wolf Scout Klayton Gibson!
Both scouts showed up loud, proud, and full of Scout spirit. Steven earned Best in Show, and Klayton raced his way to 1st Place — way to go, Scouts! We are so proud of you both!
We can’t wait to see the rest of our pack hit the track on March 1 at our Pack Pinewood Derby Race.
And in even more exciting news, Assistant Cubmaster Mr. Gibson competed in the first annual Cubmaster Cup and brought home the traveling trophy with a 1st place finish. What a great day for Pack 50! 🏁🎉

The Scouts had a wonderful time this December! We kicked off the month by spreading holiday cheer with Christmas caroling at a local nursing home.

The Scouts also enjoyed a tour at Alliance Police Department . Some Scouts participated in placing wreaths at veterans’ graves in partnership with Wreaths Across America, taking time to remember and honor those who served. 🇺🇸

We wrapped up the year today with a festive holiday party, where we learned more about what it means to be reverent. 🎄✨
To make the day even more special, Santa stopped by with a surprise gift for each Scout, their Pinewood Derby car! 🎁🚗

Pack 2050 Cubs worked incredibly hard this year, and we are so proud of them!

With over 30 scouts participating, our pack sold an amazing $20,980 in popcorn! 🍿

All popcorn has been sorted and will be headed to your doors very soon.

We had a fantastic turnout for our Fall Foliage Hike at Deer Creek Reservoir! 🍁

Stark Parks led the adventure, and our Cub Scouts had an amazing time on the nearly 2-mile hike. Along the way, we learned about different trees, animals, and so much more. A huge thank-you to Stark Parks for hosting this fun and educational event! 🌳🐾

The Webelos Den is incorporating the Denner position this year. Finn led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, the Scout Oath and Law, passed out our first Bobcat pin and led us in a song of his choosing. after passing the Denner cords on, he was awarded a special yellow woggle to show he held a leadership position in our Den.
