The Veterans of Foreign Wars was created for the welfare and betterment of United States Veterans. A social club and meeting (event) hall is maintained for them and their families with the funds recieved from membership dues and donations.

Most of you know Dracen. He volunteers for us and is usually delivering food to tables, working our kitchen during craft shows or Bingo events, he also volunteers during our catering nights or holiday events. His Eagle Scout Project was dedicated to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1517 and the Veterans of Box Butte County.
