The AASDS Offers Beginner Lessons Weekly

If you have ever thought about taking dance lessons with or without a partner at any age,
PLEASE READ ON 📣

Starting dance lessons is EXACTLY like learning a new language: you begin with the alphabet (BASIC STEPS ), move on to forming sentences (COMBINATIONS), and eventually achieve the fluency to express your own unique voice. Approaching dance this way helps reframe the learning curve. Several other highly relatable analogies help demystify the process of stepping onto the dance floor.

Dance lessons are like another spoken language. THE LESSON: At first, you may feel like you have "two left feet" or feel uncoordinated. Think of your first few classes as learning basic vocabulary words. Over time, you string those words into sentences, and eventually, you carry on a natural conversation with your partner or the music. Mistakes are just mispronunciations along the way to fluency.

There is no growth in your comfort zone & REMEMBER everyone you see on the dance floor had a FIRST LESSON.
