Art brings people together. And that connection matters. Studies show that stronger social relationships are linked to longer lives.

Music, laughter, movement, stories. Art takes many forms here, giving us reasons to find each other.

Meet the artists of ON BLACK.

I’m excited to introduce the participating artists in our October - December exhibition at inkwell.

Each artist brings something different to the room: different styles, perspectives, colors, textures, and ways of seeing. Over the next three months, their work will be experienced by the many different communities that move through this space.

Participating Artists:
Kiara Carson
Genesis Rodriguez
Lando Mahmoud
Jourdyn Whitehurst
Nathaniel Olzinski

Join us for the Opening Reception this Friday, October 9 from 6 - 8 PM for a mixer-style evening centered around the art, conversation, and meeting the artists.

Their work will live on the walls of inkwell. while poetry, comedy, music, conversation, coffee, community, and so much more, continue to happen around it.

Art. Happens. Here.

JUST ANNOUNCED: NIGHT OF THE LIVING LED 🦇

Featuring LED + Skin Mag + Clockwork

Something loud is waking up at "the well."

On Saturday, October 17, inkwell. presents Night of the Living LED: a Halloween-season night of live music featuring LED, Skin Mag and Clockwork inside one of Allentown’s most intimate creative spaces.

This isn’t a sit-back-and-watch-from-across-the-room kind of show. Three bands. One room. No barricades. No bad seat in the house. Just an up-close night of raw live music built to be felt.

Come dressed accordingly, because we’re making Halloween part of the show. Costumes are strongly encouraged, and the winner of the costume contest is going home with FREE MERCH.

And because we want the room to feel good, not just pack as many bodies inside as possible, we’re intentionally limiting advance ticket inventory.

Saturday, OCTOBER 17
Doors: 6:30 PM
Music: 7:00 PM
🎸 LED
🎸 Skin Mag
🎸 Clockwork

$15 advance / $20 at the door
ALL AGES
Limited tickets available.
