As the cruelty Officer for the Lehigh County Humane Society, I respond to an average of 35 complaints a month for neglected and or abused animals. I cover Lehigh County only. My mission is to help the citizens of the Valley through education, community outreach and by enforcing the Pennsylvania animal cruelty laws.
In most cases educating animal owners and bringing them up to speed on the new animal cruelty laws can resolve a situation. In some cases animal owners may be facing a hardship and could use some help. The Lehigh County Humane Society is willing to help responsible pet owners in their time of need.
