A Day Without Data Centers

Have you ever imagined what life would be like without data centers?

Data centers are the invisible backbone of our digital world. They power the apps we use, the websites we visit, the transactions we make, and the services we rely on every day. From streaming our favorite shows and making online payments to supporting businesses, healthcare, education, and communication, they keep the digital world running 24/7.

We support Project Atlas. Please follow their page for the latest developments. ⬇️

Project Atlas is a modern technology campus being thoughtfully planned for South Whitehall Township. It's a secure, low-occupancy facility designed to be quiet, efficient, and a responsible neighbor from day one — not a heavy industrial site.

Here's what makes Project Atlas different:

✔ Built to enforceable noise, environmental, and design standards
✔ A closed-loop cooling system that uses ZERO water from the community
✔ Structured to comply with Pennsylvania's G.R.I.D. standards — protecting local electric ratepayers
✔ A meaningful boost to the local tax base supporting schools, public safety, and services
✔ Designed with setbacks, landscaping, and screening to integrate into the community

A campus, not a factory. A neighbor, not an interruption.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing more about how Project Atlas is being designed, how it benefits our township, and what responsible growth really looks like.
