Today was one of those moments that sticks with you. 💜🩷

Shallon and I went to Chris’s Diner and had the sweetest waitress, Lori. From the moment she came to the table, she had us laughing with her fun personality and kindness. She was so attentive and genuine, and I knew right away Jaycee and Jayden would leave their mark on her heart today. 💜🩷

When we gave her the card with the 100% tip, she was completely touched and gave us both a hug. It was such a beautiful reminder that small acts of kindness and appreciation can mean so much.

And a special thank you to Shallon for helping me spread kindness and joy in honor of Jaycee and Jayden. 💜🩷

Sometimes the smallest moments turn into something much bigger. ❤️

Sunday morning at breakfast, we met the sweetest waitress. You could just feel her kindness—warm, genuine, the kind of person who makes you feel welcome right away. In conversation, she mentioned she has four kids… and you could tell she carries a lot while still showing up with a smile.

My friend, Joe, chose to leave her an incredibly generous tip.

What happened next is something that tends to follow when kindness like this is shared—and somehow, it always feels just as powerful as the first time.

When she saw it, she immediately started to cry. Through tears, she shared that she’s currently going through a divorce and doing everything she can to support her four kids. She was almost speechless… struggling to find the words to thank him.

It was one of those moments where everything just pauses.

Joe, thank you—not just for honoring Jaycee and Jayden in such a meaningful way, but for truly living what this is all about. These acts aren’t just gestures… they ripple into real lives, real struggles, real moments where someone feels seen, supported, and maybe a little less alone.

This is what paying it forward looks like.
This is how we remind people that kindness still exists.
And sometimes… it’s exactly what someone needs to keep going.

Faith in humanity—restored, even if just for a moment. ✨

Last week, something unexpected—and incredibly meaningful—happened.

I was walking into CVS, just going about my day, when I noticed a table set up in the front by an organization called “Is This for Kids” They were there to support children with food, clothing, and everyday essentials. Naturally, I stopped to listen—and shared that I, too, work in the nonprofit world through a food pantry.

As we were talking, the gentleman behind the table noticed the two bracelets I always wear… Jaycee and Jayden’s names. He gently asked if they were twins.

In that moment, I paused.
Do I tell my story… or keep it to myself?

I chose to share.

I gave him the short version—the kind you learn to tell when your heart holds a lifetime of love and loss all at once. I told him about Jaycee and Jayden, and how everything I do now is in honor of them. I showed him their card.

What happened next… I didn’t expect.

He was deeply moved. You could see it in his eyes. After I went into the store and came back out, they stopped me and told me they were going to keep Jaycee and Jayden’s card displayed at every table they set up… all the way until their birthday on July 28.

I was speechless.

In a simple, everyday moment… my girls once again touched hearts they’ve never met.
They are still here. Still moving through this world. Still making a difference.

And now, in their honor, they’re helping reach even more children in need.

Jaycee and Jayden’s joy continues to ripple outward in the most unexpected and beautiful ways. 💜🩷🙏

“We had the honor of blessing our tour guide in memory of Jaycee and Jayden — and this time, their love reached all the way to Canada! 🇨🇦🤍

Throughout the tour, he shared his incredible story with us — how he was born and raised in Iran, and how he’s now living his dream of educating people about one of the most breathtaking places in the world, right there in Banff. You could hear the passion in his voice and feel how grateful he was to be doing what he loves.

It felt like the perfect moment for an act of kindness in honor of the girls.”

And just like that… Jaycee and Jayden have touched Canada. 💫

Their legacy continues to be love, generosity, and light — spreading farther than we could have ever imagined.

Uncle Harrison and Aunt Sarah had left over flowers from an event they attended. They decided to spread them around their apartment complex in honor of Jaycee and Jayden. 🙏💜🩷

Jaycee and Jayden’s Aunt Sarah and Uncle Harrison helped out their neighbors last week after our wild snow storm by shoveling and cleaning off their cars.

They messaged me saying, “We’re happy to be able to do this in Jaycee and Jayden’s honor.”

Thank you both for being amazing humans and honoring my precious girls. 🙏💜🩷

Last week in Maryland, Jaycee and Jayden’s Nanny honored their memory in a beautiful way. While in a store, she noticed a little boy who couldn’t stop asking his mom for a toy he truly wanted. In that moment, she gently asked the mother if she could purchase it for him in Jaycee and Jayden’s honor.

The mother was deeply touched by the gesture, and the joy on that little boy’s face was everything. Such a simple act — yet filled with so much love.

Thank you, Nanny, for keeping Jaycee and Jayden so close to your heart all these years later. Thank you for honoring their lives by spreading kindness and creating happiness for another child. Because Jaycee and Jayden were here — even if only for a brief moment — love continues to ripple outward, touching lives in the most meaningful ways. 🙏💜🩷

Today my heart is incredibly full. 💜🩷

Through Jaycee and Jayden’s Joy to the World, we were able to make a donation to The Kindness Project: A Foster Care Resource, an organization that supports foster kids and the families who love and support them.

Because of this community, we donated:
• Brand new winter jackets
• Brand new games, books, and toys
• Gently used girls’ clothing, shoes, and winter gear
• Legos and essential toiletries

All of these items will go directly to children placed in foster care—kids who deserve to feel seen, cared for, and loved, especially during such a difficult time.

I may have been the one delivering these items, but every single piece was given in memory of and in honor of my precious Jaycee and Jayden. You girls may not be here physically, but you are still so deeply felt in this world through the love, kindness, and action that continues in your names.

You continue to inspire me to show up, especially when it comes to kids. Even in the hardest seasons of their life, because of you, I truly believe smiles will be put on the faces of these kiddos who have been put in the foster care system.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support, donate, love, and help keep Jaycee and Jayden’s Joy to the World going strong. Your kindness allows us to give back to the community with love, joy, and support—and that means more than words can say.

This holiday season, I want to take a moment to say thank you from the very bottom of my heart to everyone who helped make the "Share the Joy" project through Jaycee and Jayden’s Joy to the World, not only possible, but a success.

Some of you are friends and family, others were complete strangers who simply felt it in your hearts to give. No matter how you found your way here, please know your kindness made an incredible difference - not just to the families you helped, but to me as well.

Child loss is something that never truly gets easier. The grief is always there, but during the holidays it can feel especially heavy. Traditions change, joy feels complicated, and the absence is louder. Because of your generosity, two families who are walking through that same heartbreak were reminded that they are not alone—that they are seen, loved, and supported.

Not only did you help ease the holidays for these families in such meaningful ways, but you also helped honor the memory of my precious Jaycee and Jayden. Knowing that their names continue to be a source of kindness, compassion, and love means more to me than words could ever express.

The families were beyond grateful for everything they received, and their appreciation was deeply felt. What you gave was more than gifts—it was comfort, hope, and a reminder that even in the darkest seasons, goodness still exists.

Families received a wide variety of thoughtful and much-needed items, including:

👢 Warm essentials: boots, shoes, socks, hats, scarves
👕 Clothing & comfort: clothes, pajamas, blankets
🧸 Gifts & joy: toys, books, PlayStation controller
🍳 Home & kitchen items: cookware, crockpot
🧼 Personal care: toiletries, makeup
🎁 Gift essentials: wrapping paper, gift bags, tissue paper
💳 Gift cards: grocery stores, retail stores, PlayStation
…and so much more, all given with love and care to help make the holidays a little brighter.

I then delivered all the items a week before Christmas to give the families time to wrap presents - the mother and grandmother of each family we sponsored got their gifts already wrapped - because they deserve to feel surprised, loved, and celebrated on Christmas morning too. ❤️💚

Thank you for opening your hearts. Thank you for giving so generously. And thank you for helping spread joy, love, and light in honor of my precious, and SO very missed Jaycee and Jayden. 💜🩷
