Due to the Covid-19 virus and in compliance with CDC recommendations of social distancing the troops will not be meeting until further notice.

I am suggesting that any scout that would like to work on merit badges during the time off (you know you are going to get bored); please contact Ms. Debi for permission first and consider any of the following badges:

Reading, scholarship, citizenship in the community/nation/world, public health, safety, sustainability, game design, American cultures, American heritage, American labor.

I can council all the above badges and would be glad to help you earn them. I can maybe counsel some of the other available badges please ask if you have an interest.

Mr. Don

Good afternoon Scouting Family,

It has been a long holiday break, but the Scoutmaster and committee have been busy. We have recently finalized the last of the new charter paperwork and will be submitting it to the council office on 19 Feb.

We are looking forward to resuming our meetings and seeing everyone on the 25 Feb.

Meetings will continue to be every Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 PM at the Allenhurst Presbyterian Social Hall located at 30 Church Street, Allenhurst. The meeting on the first one will be a planning meeting to get us through the summer months. All the youth and adult leaders need to attend this meeting, we also high encourage parents to stay. As we value your input. I look forward to seeing every one next Tuesday, and thank you very much for your patience and cooperation as we have transitioned to our new Charter.
