GVSU Photography Club Welcome to the official GVSU Photography Club page. We welcome anyone at any level - from en Welcome to the GVSU Photography Club Page !

Whether you are a master photographer or an enthusiast that barely knows how to work an iphone camera we welcome you to join our group. We will be hosting weekly events including Field trips, demonstrations/workshops, galleries, weekly competitions, etc. These events will take place on Thursdays at 8 P.M. Starting September 15.

At tonight’s meeting , we’re bringing light painting back!! If you’ve never tried it, tonight is your night to learn! Bring your gear and a jacket- we’ll be headed outside to shoot! Also bring any lights you have! We will meet in our normal room in Calder at 8pm and feel free to text the group chat to see where we’re at if you get there later!

Photoshoot time!! We’re especially excited for this one! Bring a “character”(action figure, stuffed animal, figurine of some sort) and a prop to go with it- any cool object! We will be learning how to set up a good photo for objects with a subject!
