🌟 Popcorn Volunteer Appreciation Spotlight: Danielle Plaggemars! 🌟

We want to give a big thank you to Danielle Plaggemars for volunteering at 8 out of our 9 Popcorn Days this past school year! Your time and consistency helped make a big impact on our students and staff.

Danielle has been volunteering with Allendale since 2022, and says one of her favorite parts is getting to see all the kids—especially how excited they are for Popcorn Day 🍿

She and her husband moved to Allendale in 2016, and they have two boys: Henry, who is going into 1st grade, and Owen, who is going into 3rd grade.

Outside of volunteering, Danielle works as a nurse at a fertility clinic. She also enjoys cooking and baking, crafting, and camping with her family.

Thank you, Danielle, for your time, energy, and support throughout the school year—we appreciate you being such a reliable and positive part of Popcorn Days! 💛

🌟 Popcorn Volunteer Appreciation Spotlight: Stacy Curtis! 🌟

A huge thank you to Stacy Curtis for her incredible dedication to Popcorn Days this past school year! Stacy volunteered at 8 out of our 9 Popcorn Days, helping make this favorite PTO tradition possible for so many students and staff.

Stacy has been volunteering with Popcorn Days for 4 years and says one of her favorite parts is spending time with the other moms while also getting to see her kids and their friends. Last year was especially busy, with all three of her children in different buildings—Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 5th grade!

Stacy has lived in Allendale for 15 years and works as a nurse. When she’s not caring for others, she loves spending time outdoors with her family. Whether it’s an early morning run, swimming with her kids in the pool, or enjoying a relaxing beach day, it sounds like you’ll likely find her soaking up the sunshine.

Thank you, Stacy, for your years of service, your willingness to help, and the enthusiastic positive energy you bring to Popcorn Days. We appreciate you! 🍿❤️🖤👏

💃🕺 Help Us Make the PTO Family Formal Unforgettable! 🎉

The PTO is looking for energetic, creative, and community-minded volunteers to join our Dance Committee!
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families, support our school, and help create a fun-filled evening that our students will remember for years to come.
Whether you love decorating, organizing, planning activities, or simply lending a helping hand, there's a place for you on the team. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to get involved and have fun!

Dance Committee volunteers may help with:
✨ Brainstorming themes and ideas
🎈 Decorating and creating a festive atmosphere
🎟️ Ticket sales and guest check-in
🍪 Refreshments and concessions
🎵 Music, activities, and entertainment
🤝 Event setup and cleanup

The annual family formal is one of the highlights of the year, and it takes a team of dedicated volunteers to make the magic happen! Currently looking at late January for an event date at Evergreen Elementary.
