Training doesn’t start when the plane takes off. 🎒

Here’s a spotlight on 5 of the Mission Principles our teams learn in training:

1️⃣ Mission is a lifestyle.
2️⃣ God is already there.
3️⃣ Training is essential.
4️⃣ Empathy across cultures.
5️⃣ Ask before assuming.

These aren’t just trip rules. They’re habits for how we listen, learn, and love our neighbors at home and abroad, because God’s mission doesn’t end when the trip does.

Missions training prepares more than your suitcase it prepares your heart. ❤️

Here are four reasons training matters:

1️⃣ Spiritual preparation
2️⃣ Christlike servanthood
3️⃣ Strengthening your testimony
4️⃣ Team building

Each lesson helps participants grow in their faith, serve with humility, share their stories boldly, and work together with purpose.

Which part of mission training has impacted you most?

What happens during a TTW training?

Max Pilet, Associate Pastor at Beacon Church, shares how students are intentionally poured into throughout the experience. Through spiritual preparation, encouragement, and practical training, they are equipped to grow in their faith and serve others with confidence.

Students do not simply leave prepared for a mission trip, they leave transformed. 🌍💙

Your trip may be over but the experience lives on. Has your Missions Team Debriefed ?

If your team has not yet, it is NOT too late. Debriefing gives participants space to process what they experienced, share meaningful moments, recognize what God taught them, and consider how the journey will shape their lives moving forward.

Reflection helps turn a powerful experience into lasting growth. What is one lesson from a mission trip that has stayed with you?
