Water---Treat it like GOLD!!!
With the warmer months approaching we ask each resident to be mindful of our precious resource--- WATER!

Please use it sparingly around the house and when cleaning up outside. If you have an in ground sprinkler system-please check it for leaks after it is turned on for the season. Use a flashlight to look at your water meter, it should not be moving if your sprinkler system and all other water faucets are turned off in the house. If your meter is moving—you may have a leak somewhere-either in a toilet, your sprinkler system or elsewhere. Please see the Borough of Allendale website under Departments- click on Water and you will find a detailed description of how to check your home for water leaks.

Water restrictions for lawn watering will be enforced this summer, so plant your gardens accordingly.
We need to conserve this precious resource!
