🚨 DROP OFF AUCTION DONATIONS TOMORROW & LOCK IN EARLY BIRD TICKETS! 🚨

We have two major updates for our Special Angels community! Read below for donation drop-off details and ticket deadlines.

📦 1. DONATION DROP-OFF INFO
Drop off your auction items tomorrow night, Thursday, September 3rd, 2026 at the Allen Police Academy.

📍 Location: 900 South Greenville Avenue, Allen, Texas 75002

⏰ Time: 7:00 PM – 8:15 PM

🗺️ Directions: Located just south of Bethany on Greenville. Pass the light at Highland and Greenville. See email for map.

🙏 A huge thank you to Officer Peel and the Allen Police Department for allowing us to use this space!

Alternative Drop-off: Can't make tomorrow night? You can drop items on the protected front porch at Mindye Piepenburg’s home (1402 Pleasant Run, Allen, TX). Mindye works from home and will grab it between calls!

🎨 ITEMS WE NEED BY SEPTEMBER 30th
Athlete Art (New This Year!): Athletes, create whatever makes you happy (paintings, pottery, diamond art, crochet) and donate your masterpiece! Contact Mindye Piepenburg to submit.

Gift Baskets: Contact Tracy or Aly Baldwin at [email protected] or [email protected] for a list of needed items.

Gift Cards: We are accepting gift cards valued at $25 or greater.

Don't forget to place your advertisement in the brochure that will be given out at the Special Angels Among Us Athletes in Bloom Auction 2026!
Whether you’d like to advertise your business or highlight and celebrate your favorite athlete, purchasing an ad is a wonderful way to be featured in the auction brochure while supporting the Allen Special Olympics Delegation.

Parent/Athlete: $50
Half Page Ad (5” × 4”)

BE A PART OF SOMETHING SPECIAL - DONATIONS AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Allen Special Olympics Auction is quickly approaching, and we are still in need of donations to help make this year’s event a success! 💙🏅

Right now, our biggest need is physical donations from local businesses and community members for our Silent and Live Auctions.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

🎟️ Gift cards - $25 minimum

🍽️ Restaurant, entertainment & service certificates

🎉 Experiences or unique items for our Live Auction

Here are some gift basket ideas:

**"Fuel Your Champion" Athletic Bundle**

* **Contents:** Stainless steel insulated water bottle (Hydro Flask or Yeti), high-end foam roller or massage gun, resistance bands, sports drink mix/electrolytes, and a **$50 gift card** to a local sporting goods store (like Dick's Sporting Goods or Academy).

**"Tailgate & Turf" Game Day Package**

* **Contents:** Soft-sided cooler, team-branded outdoor blanket, portable Bluetooth speaker, grilling seasonings, and a **$50 gift card** to a local butcher shop or grocery store.

**"The Ultimate Family Game Night"**

* **Contents:** 3–4 popular, highly-rated board/card games (e.g., *Catan*, *Ticket to Ride*, *Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza*), gourmet popcorn tubs, candy variety pack, sodas, and a **$50 gift card** to a local pizza parlor.

**"Cozy Home Cinema"**

* **Contents:** Microwave popcorn popper with gourmet kernels and seasonings, 2 plush throw blankets, insulated tumblers, movie candy boxes, and a **$50 Fandango or local theater gift card** (or a Netflix/Hulu gift card).

**"BBQ Pitmaster" Kit**

* **Contents:** Heavy-duty grill tool set (tongs, spatula, meat thermometer), specialty rubs and regional sauce multi-pack, cedar grilling planks, heat-resistant grill gloves, and a **$50 gift card** to a local meat market.

**"Rise & Shine" Coffee Lover’s Basket**

* **Contents:** French press or pour-over coffee maker, 2 bags of locally roasted specialty coffee beans, 2 ceramic mugs, artisanal syrups, biscotti/stroopwafels, and a **$25 gift card** to a local bakery or coffee shop.

**"Head-to-Toe Spa Retreat"**

* **Contents:** Plush bathrobe or luxury bath towels, aromatherapy candle set, bath bombs, premium lotion set, silk eye mask, and a **$50 gift card** to a local day spa, nail salon, or massage therapist.

We also urgently need volunteers willing to help solicit donations from local businesses. We’ll provide you with the information you need — even reaching out to just a few businesses can make a huge difference.

We have some exciting updates and need our incredible community to help us gear up for the big night! Here is how our athletes, volunteers, and families can get involved right now:
🎨 Calling All Athletes: Showcase Your Unique Art!
We are doing something completely different this year for the Athlete Art Auction. Instead of gathering to make a specific craft, we want you to create what makes you happy!
What we want: Cartoon drawings, knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, diamond art, paintings, pottery masterpieces from Color Me Mine, or any other creative project you love!
Deadline: Please donate your artwork by September 16th.
How to submit: Contact Mindye Piepenburg to share what you are donating and arrange a drop-off time.
