🎖 Senior Spotlight: Lt. Col. Antonio Rendon
Lt. Col. Antonio Rendon has spent the past four years in the JROTC program. Antonio has contributed across nearly every major team in the program, including Armed Regulation, Armed Exhibition, Raiders, Inspection/Academics, Musical Ensemble (which he founded and led), Marksmanship, and Color Guard. Rather than simply participating, he is known for fully investing in each program he joins and helping shape how those teams function and perform.
He previously served as Communications Officer and currently serves as Operations Officer, where he plays a central role in coordination, planning, and ex*****on across the regiment. In these positions, he is often one of the cadets others turn to when organization and follow-through matter most.
Beyond JROTC, Antonio also participates in Orchestra, balancing multiple commitments while maintaining a consistent standard of performance across all areas.
Antonio is known to the unit as a cadet who is dependable in any situation—someone who does not need to be prompted twice and who naturally strengthens the teams he is part of. Those who work with him recognize that his leadership is not loud, but instead built through consistency, trust, and ex*****on.
After graduation, Antonio plans to attend college and transfer to Texas A&M, with the goal of commissioning as an officer in the Marine Corps. We wish him the best as he continues forward on his path of service and leadership.
