AYC UPDATE 📣📣📣

The Allen Youth Center will be open Tuesday - Sunday from 12PM to 8PM this week.

Travis Thunderbull will be covering the AYC during our regular operating hours. Tai will return to the center full-time on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2026, as we resume our normal schedule.

Our food pantry and laundry facility will also be available throughout the week. If you're stopping by for a food pick up, we kindly ask that you bring your own reusable bags if you are able. It's a small way we can reduce waste and show respect for Unci Maka while caring for our community.

Whether you're coming to spend time with friends, join an activity, grab a meal, pick up pantry items, or just getting out of the heat for a bit, our doors are open and we're looking forward to seeing you.

As always, every relative is welcome.

I would like to inform you that as of today Monday 06/27/26, I Warren Yellow Hair will be removing myself from the duties and responsibilities at the Allen Youth Center. I appreciate the opportunity and the challenges that went with the working with the AYC. Toksa ake (Until later)

The Allen Youth Center will be distributing more food boxes at 4pm today Sunday July 26, 2026 If you have plastic grocery bags please bring them as we short on boxes. We are unable to make home deliveries and we apologies for that.

Big shout out to the AYC crew for stepping up into the business today and getting it done, Feeding South Dakota food truck rolled up today. They unloaded and distributed the food for many of the Oyate (people) and will do the same in the morning. Keep up the good work and much appreciated for all that you did today.
