Like Minded Friends attended Bea Warrick's memorial today. It was a lovely service for our Like Minded Friend. Bea leaves such an impression on everyone's heart that knew her - it was truly our privilege to know her and work with her on our productions. She exemplified love and service to her community and her friends.

Known for innovative guitar performances, Joseph Carmichael has toured in Europe and the United States. Joseph has been a regular with singer/songwriter, Ashley Davis, and toured with the internationally acclaimed Prodigals. His debut solo album, “Desiderium” will be released in 2021.

A popular fiddle player that resonates with orchestral power, David Mehalko was awarded first place in the senior fiddle competition at the Midwest Fleadh Cheoil. David has studied at the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain and has performed with the Milwaukee Irish Festival, Kansas City Irish Festival, and the North Texas Irish Festival.

On banjo, flute and mandolin, Daniel Mehalko is best known for his association with the highly acclaimed The Bodarks, and he has performed with some of Ireland’s most celebrated musicians, The Brock McGuire band. Cara Wildman is a world-renowned percussionist who has enthralled audiences across the globe with her mesmerizing beats. Cara has played with Celtic Thunder A person playing a guitar

painted with words. His albums include "Townes Van Zandt", "Our Mother the Mountain" and "Delta Momma Blues". Known for writing the songs "If I Needed You" and “For The Sake Of The Song", in 1983, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard

took "Pancho and Lefty" to the top of the country chart.

Band leader Nick Brumley notes, “His work means a lot to me because his music is what brought a lot of my friends together.

To this day I have lifelong friends and our first conversations started out with what Townes song was our favorite. “

Cole Allen.

Townes Van Zandt was directly descended from Isaac Van Zandt for whom Van Zandt County in Texas is named.
