⛳ NEW DATE — Kiwanis Club of Allen Golf Tournament! ⛳

Our golf tournament has officially been rescheduled for Thursday, October 22, 2026, at The Courses at Watters Creek!

We hope the new date works for everyone and that you’ll still be able to join us for a great afternoon of golf, fellowship, and support for the Kiwanis Club of Allen.

🏌️ Check-in begins at 11:30 AM
🥪 Box lunch provided
⛳ Sh***un start at 1:00 PM
🎟️ Range balls, mulligans and raffle tickets available for $20

If the new date creates a scheduling challenge and you’re no longer able to participate, please reach out directly so we can talk through your options.

As we begin a new year of service with the Kiwanis Club of Allen, we want to pause and say a heartfelt thank you to our outgoing President, Michelle Boren.

Michelle, thank you for your leadership, your friendship, and the time and heart you’ve given to our club and our community. We are grateful for all you’ve done to help us serve children, strengthen our community, and Do What Matters. 💙

And with excitement, we welcome our new President, Eileen Tollett! 🎉

Eileen, we’re looking forward to the year ahead and to serving alongside you as we continue building on the strong foundation of service, fellowship, and community that makes our club so special.

The weather isn’t cooperating with our golf plans, so we are postponing our Kiwanis Golf Tournament due to bad weather.

We’re working on a new date and will share it as soon as it’s confirmed.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility!

But there’s no need to miss out on the company of your fellow Kiwanians!
Join us for an informal lunch at Matt’s Rancho Martinez tomorrow, Thursday, October 1, at our usual meeting time.

No speaker. No PowerPoint. Just fellowship. A little lunch, a few laughs, and good company—because we can still enjoy each other while our golf swings wait. ⛳😉

🩺💙 Good Health. Common Good. Stronger Community.

Last week, we were blessed to welcome Daniel Moreno with Common Good Medical to the Kiwanis Club of Allen!

Daniel shared the story of Common Good Medical—from its beginnings, to the incredible work they’re doing today, to some pretty exciting plans for the future. And one thing was abundantly clear: the need is growing, and so are they!

Common Good Medical provides low- to no-cost, need-based healthcare to individuals and families who might otherwise go without care. Right here in Collin County, they’re helping fill a very real gap in our community. ❤️

And they’re not stopping there! Their plans for the future include expanding services and even opening their own pediatric clinic to help ensure children in need have access to quality medical care.

That’s the kind of mission we can get behind. 🙌

There will be NO regular Kiwanis meeting at Matt’s this Thursday! Our annual Kiwanis Golf Tournament is this week, so instead of sitting around the lunch table, you’ll find us out swinging clubs, raising money, and possibly searching for a few golf balls that did not go where their owners intended. 😂🏌️‍♂️

We’ll see everyone back at Matt’s next week!

📚🚒 When Books, Service & Community Come Together!

We love seeing Kiwanis service make its way into the hands of our community’s kids! 💙

Jeanette Kelly generously donated 25 copies of the book, Abuela y Yo, on behalf of the Kiwanis Club of Allen to Allen Fire-Rescue, pictured here with Chief John Boyd and our incoming Kiwanis President Eileen Tollett.

And the giving doesn’t stop there! 📖✨ Copies will also be shared with some of our Allen third graders during our annual Dictionary Distribution—one of our favorite Kiwanis traditions.

Local civic thoughtfulness. A great book. Our firefighters. Our students. And a little Kiwanis magic tying it all together. ❤️
