Brethren, join us this Tuesday, June 2, as we pass a Brother to the Fellow Craft Degree.

Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM, and the degree will begin promptly at 7:00 PM.

Let’s come together in strong numbers to support our Brother and make this a memorable evening filled with fellowship, brotherhood, and Masonic tradition. We hope to see a full lodge room and many familiar faces.

You will never get a second chance for a first impression.

Allen Masonic Lodge No. 1435 was proud and honored to take part in the Cornerstone Ceremony for the new Allen Police Department building.

Joining us for this special occasion were Grand Officers from the Grand Lodge, several District Deputy Grand Masters, Past Masters, city officials, members of law enforcement, and honored guests from across the community. We are especially grateful to Allen Mayor Baine Brooks and Police Chief Steve Dye for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to our brethren throughout the event.

The new Allen Police Department building stands as a strong first impression of professionalism, service, integrity, and commitment to the citizens of Allen for generations to come.

Freemasonry has long supported the values of community, honor, and public service, and it was a privilege for Allen Masonic Lodge No. 1435 to be part of laying a symbolic foundation for those ideals today.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this memorable occasion possible. Brotherhood, fellowship, and civic pride were truly on display.

To properly wrap up our April events, this moment deserves a spotlight of its own.

On April 25, we had the distinct honor of presenting one of the highest recognitions our Lodge can bestow—the Golden Trowel Award. This award isn’t just handed out for showing up (although we do appreciate that too). It’s reserved for a Brother who consistently goes above and beyond, quietly putting in the work, time, and heart for the good of the Lodge.

This year, that honor goes to Brother Dennis Dlabaj.

Dennis, your dedication, service, and willingness to step up, often without being asked, have not gone unnoticed. You’ve set the kind of example that makes the rest of us look around and say, “Alright… I guess I should do more too.”

On behalf of the Lodge, we thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do. We’re grateful to have you in our ranks, and we certainly hope this doesn’t mean you’re slowing down anytime soon, we’re just getting used to relying on you.

Congratulations, Brother. This recognition is more than well deserved.

April has been a wonderfully busy and joy-filled month for Allen Masonic Lodge No. 1435. From meaningful events to shared laughter, it has been a time filled with brotherhood, service, and plenty of happy faces. It’s months like these that remind us why we do what we do.

On April 11, we held our annual Bowling Tournament in support of our scholarship fund. It was a fantastic turnout, full of fun, friendly competition, and community spirit. The highlight of the event was awarding four well-deserving Allen High School students with scholarships. Moments like these make every frame bowled completely worth it.

Just a few days later, on April 15, we had the honor of hosting an MWSA meeting. The evening was made even more special when Right Worshipful John M. Wilkerson, Grand Junior Warden, presented a beautiful apron to Grand Ambassador George Rutherford. It was a memorable moment that truly reflected the appreciation and unity within our Masonic family.

Then on April 21, we had the privilege of raising a brother to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. It was one of the most outstanding degree nights we’ve had so far, filled with meaning, precision, and brotherly pride. A night none of us will soon forget.

April may have kept us busy, but it also brought us closer together. Here’s to more light, more brotherhood, and more moments like these in the months ahead.

For the past two months, Allen Masonic Lodge No. 1435 has proudly collected toys to support the Toys for Tots program and help bring joy to local children this Christmas season. Thanks to the generosity of our brothers, families, and friends, we were able to donate over three full boxes of toys. Our Worshipful Master, Jason Varvel, personally delivered the donations on 09 December 2025, representing our lodge with pride, gratitude, and the true spirit of service.

Allen Masonic Lodge No. 1435 proudly hosted a Masonic Information Booth during the Allen Christmas Parade on December 7, 2025. It was an open house event, and we were grateful to welcome friends, families, and members of our community to learn more about who we are and what we do.

Later that day, our lodge brothers put on their aprons and joined the parade, proudly carrying our lodge banner. One of our brothers, Joel Haka, represented the Haggai Council 38 of York Rite with honor in his purple coat as the Thrice Illustrious Master.

It was a great day of fellowship, community spirit, and sharing the values that make Masonry meaningful. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us, and helped make the day special.
