Leadership Allen Alumni,
Did you know that the Allen Heritage Guild began as a Leadership Allen Class VII project in 1996?
This year, as we celebrate the Allen Heritage Guild's 30th Anniversary, we're inviting Leadership Allen alumni to help continue the legacy that started three decades ago.
One of the most rewarding ways to get involved is by serving as a docent at the Allen Heritage Village or Allen Train Depot. As a docent, you'll welcome visitors, share Allen's rich history, and help preserve the community spirit that inspired the Guild's founding.
Volunteer Opportunities:
🏡 Allen Heritage Village Open House
• 3rd Sunday of each month
• 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
🚂 Allen Train Depot
• 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month
• 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
No previous experience is necessary. We provide the information and support you need to feel confident sharing Allen's story.
For Leadership Allen alumni, this is a unique opportunity to reconnect with the program's legacy and contribute to a project that has served our community for 30 years. Whether you can volunteer once in a while or on a regular basis, your involvement helps ensure that Allen's history remains accessible and meaningful for future generations.
If you're a Leadership Allen graduate, we'd especially love to hear what class you were part of!
Please email Terri Martinez at [email protected] if you're interested in becoming a docent or learning more.
