Sylvia Bysiek of Allegany recently won the State Championship of the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest held at West Point Academy. Sylvia progress through Council, District, Chapter and Regional levels to earn a right to shoot in the State finals. Sylvia made 22 of her 25 attempts, which tied for first with the Long Island Regional representative. After two overtime shootout rounds, Sylvia ended up winning the contest by one shot. Congratulations to Sylvia for representing Allegany on the big stage!
