**Weightlifting Update**
First, I want to say that our weightlifting program has been a huge success at this level. Thank you to all of the parents for making sure your athletes were able to participate. We’ve seen a lot of great ability and growth in this group, and this experience further confirmed that. Parents, this is a testament to your support—thank you for everything you do.
Second, as we transition into spring sports, we will be wrapping up this session of lifting. The final day of weightlifting will be Friday, March 27.
Third, although this session is ending, our work is not done. This program has been very successful, and as coaches, we believe strength training will be one of the biggest contributors to our future success. We don’t have an exact restart date yet, but we are planning to begin again sometime between late June and early July.
Fourth, during this break, I will be working on putting together the football calendar for the upcoming year and plan to have it published within the next few weeks.
