Road Closure:

Monroe Road will be closed beginning Wednesday for culvert replacement between 34th Street and 36th Street. Work will take approximately 3-4 days.

Detour:

34th Street, 115th Avenue, and 36th Street.

Hi All!

So Saturday is coming up fast. The weather is looking good!

Couple notes: As mentioned, Matthew Turcich will be performing a couple of solo musical sets STARTING AT 4PM on a side stage separate from the Tricks Band stage. So, be sure to be there by 4 to see the show!

Also, my grandson Brody will have a Lemonade stand set up for sales of cold Lemonade. $1.00 dollar a cup (with one free refill if you want). Don't have cash? No worries, he will be set up with Venmo with part of the proceeds going to the Lake Allegan Association!!

There will be a sales tent at the Rockin the Shores 2 party this Saturday. Kristen Clignett will have two racks of apparel, coozies, and flags are coming (so we will sell as a preorder).

Hey all. We now will be having a 50/50 raffle at the Rockin the Shores party this Saturday. Maureen Esposito has offered to bring the tickets and collect money!! Thanks Maureen! Remember, the more you purchase, the more you can win and the more funds LAA gets to support the lake! So bring your cash!! :)

Hi all,

Just a friendly reminder that the "Rockin the Shores 2" party at the Indian Shores park on Saturday, July 1, 2023 is fast approaching. Party starts any time after 2:00 PM and lasts until the last person leaves! Come by land or by sea! If you come by land, please park cars on the streets outside of the park (golf carts are free to park in the park along the southern fence area by the newly renovated shed, thank you Arron Rittenhouse for volunteering your time and expertise to make the shed look brand new!). If you come by sea, watch out for the Sheriff!

Like last year, we will have Tricks Band playing for your listening and dancing pleasure. This year they plan on setting up the trailer stage (trailer being donated again by Scott's Landscaping - THANK YOU SCOTT!) at the west end of the park to help shield them from the sun so they can rock out more comfortably. We will again have our special guest performer Matthew Turcich performing a set during the show.

Feel free to bring food to grill (at the grill over by the beach) and bring whatever you would like to snack on and drink.

As you know, the Lake Allegan Association (LAA) is working hard with State and local governments as well as with Consumers Energy to keep our lake the hidden gem that it is. As such, we will be using this event as a fundraiser to help fund our work. Monies raised will be used to fund areas including legal expenses, communications, the LAA website, posters, etc. We hope that you will be able to make a generous donation to this end. We will also be selling T Shirts and other items with Indian Shores and Lake Allegan Association graphics on them. After covering the cost of the Tricks Band and cost of the merchandise, all proceeds will go to help defray LAA costs. This is all of our lake and we need to do everything possible to keep it as beautiful as it is.

Last year we had a great fireworks display put on by Joe Borst. We are happy to announce that Joe will be handling the display this year too!! THANK YOU JOE!

We look forward to seeing all of you to celebrate our country, our Lake and the great people of Lake Allegan.
