This marks a two year collaboration with the ninth grade health classes at Aliso Niguel high school.

The teacher is awesome and he cares so much for his students!

Aliso Niguel HS was the first high school we collaborated with. We learned a ton and now we’re able to collaborate with other high schools to offer our INK IT project to provide a Safe Place for kids to share their story, so healing can begin.

We finished our last INK IT event for the ninth grade health classes at Valley Vista High School high school in Fountain Valley. They’re heading out for summer vacation and I look forward for next semesters ninth grade health classes and provide a Safe Place for these students to share their story.

This was going to be the last 34 Stitches club meeting at CAPO high school before summer break. The president of the club had something happen, and she is heading into finals.
Please pray for comfort, for the 34 Stitches club president, as she deals with what’s going on while she tackles finals.
She is awesome!

We had an event at Huntington Beach.
A couple girls came by the booth and shared their stories. One of them talked about being a worm - and she is OK with that.
I love hearing stories and what makes people tick.

Come on out if you can!! Hang out in the booth, enjoy the weather and pass out hats to kids - and hear their stories

“Never even knew that…” said the 9th grade health teacher.
It was too hurtful to design a hat but she felt Safe enough to write it down and draw a picture on the paper.
Now, the teacher is able to connect and support this student differently.

Our INK IT project for 34 Stitches goes back to Aliso Niguel high school. Their ninth grade health classes are using the hats, within their mental health curriculum, to provide a Safe Place for kids to exhale their most heavy thoughts.

It would be rad if you can help volunteer this Saturday in Huntington Beach, on the boardwalk at the base of the pier. 34 Stitches will have a booth mixed in with the other vendors selling beachy stuff, lotions, and potions. Come by for a minute, an hour, or however long you want to stay. Or just come by and say hi, I would be stoked to see you!
