She survived and is doing as good as she can
After I shared my story, it felt so insignificant compared to their stories.
But we have a couple things in common. Pain is pain, and it doesn’t matter where is came from. And these girls realize that Jesus can mend a pickin shattered heart.
It’s hard to talk about what this hat represents.

I took a needed break from social media the past week.
A lot happened and I’m excited to share with you - how the hats continue to be a bridge to present hope to the brokenhearted.

You all are awesome!
The supporting messages and phone calls are soooo encouraging.

Sometimes it feels like I’m going down a road and I have no idea how it will play out or how the INK IT events will get financed. But it always seems to work itself out. I figure that if I’m going to do this, God will continue to make everything happen.

I’m humbled and grateful for all your prayers and financial help!

This picture is at Pearl Haven on the North Shore of Oahu. Check them out.
They protect young girls from s*x trafficking.

The kids sent me thank you cards of the designs they made on the hats. Kids are rad and I’m super stoked to go back to have an INK IT event at Palama Settlement - Honolulu HI.

They didn’t look me in the eyes when I first started sharing my story. I always get nervous at this point. But after a few minutes, they were locked - as I continued to share how special they are and they are deeply loved - regardless the gangs and drugs outside the gates.

The kids dove into designing their hats and we joked around and laughed a lot. Good for them to get out of their heads for a little bit!!!

Wednesday is the INK IT event and I’ll keep you posted.

It would be rad if you could donate and/or pray for the kids at the event. Hoping they walk away knowing they are loved!

Thank you for caring,
David

Survivors of s*x trafficking and domestic violence design their stories to help other kids going through a similar situation.

We have an INK IT event next week at Pearl Haven, Oahu HI

The stories last year were heartbreaking. We pray that these young girls continue to heal. They design their hats to show other kids that Hope is real.

Please Donate if you can.

Thank you for caring, David

These young girls share their stories to show that healing is possible and to help others girls that are going through the same thing.

I’ve never witnessed such a strong group of girls. They shouldn’t have to be strong and It makes me sad what they’re going through.

BUT, they are healing!!
I’m humbled to collaborate with Pearl Haven and be in a position to present hope to the brokenhearted, and let these girls know they are loved.

We have an INK IT event at Pearl Haven next week on Oahu, HI.

If you are able to DONATE,
The funds are greatly needed and appreciated!

Thank you for caring,
David

You won’t see their neighborhood on a Hawaiian postcard - it’s pretty rough with the gangs and drugs.
But I’m fortunate enough to go back to Palama Settlement where the kids are provided meals, help with homework, and a safe place just to be themselves.

34 Stitches is super fortunate to be able to collaborate with Palama Settlement to help the kids, just be kids and to let them know they are designed perfectly, and they are loved!!!

If you are able to donate, that would be awesome!
We definitely need the funds.

Thank you for caring, David

Listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers reminded her of happy times - and she likes here eyes.
These helped her get through a rough time in her life.

Kids are sharing the hard parts of their life in hopes that their story will help other students struggling with the same situation.
