SEED members had an enriching conversation with Professor Liu Junyi on policy writing. SEEDies are working to prepare a policy booklet this semester that intends to explore the multidisciplinary effects of technology on human lives.

Recently, college campuses across the U.S. are having a debate on whether to ban speeches that are considered harmful and offensive or to allow any form of speech in the name of freedom of speech. Student groups clash over the appearance of controversial guest speakers. What do SUA students think about free speech on campus? As global citizens, it is important to be involved in public affairs without fear or harm. It is also important to create a campus environment that feels safe and comfortable for all the students. At SEED (Social and Entrepreneurship and Economic Development), we think this debate is worth having. Thus, we are sending out this survey to assess where SUA students stand. Based on the survey results, we will write a report and send it to you in the near future.
