Hopewell Community Park is looking for amateur and backyard BBQ cooks who are ready to show off their skills.

We’ll be awarding cash prizes to the top three winners in each category.

Even if you’re not cooking, we’d love to have you join us for great food, great music, and a great time with neighbors and friends. Mark your calendars for a delicious day in the park.

If you’re a creator, crafter, baker, or part of a group that sells food, this is your chance to shine. We want a fun variety of vendors, so sign up early — we try not to duplicate food items so everyone has a great day.

Interested?
*** Email Brad at [email protected] with what you plan to sell, and he’ll send you the vendor form.

Let’s make Park Fest amazing together!

2026 Earth Day at Hopewell Community Park was a HUGE success!

Thank you to every volunteer who braved the rain and got the job done — community members, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and the awesome students from Hopewell High schools.

You painted, mulched, planted, and brought so much spirit to the day.

The high school students especially deserve a big shout‑out — your work ethic and positive attitudes were incredible. The Hopewell School District should be proud of everything you achieved.

We’re grateful for all the hard work and heart everyone put into making our park shine!

Youth Fishing Day will be held on Saturday, May 2, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a great chance for young anglers to enjoy a morning of fishing in a friendly, supportive environment.

The Adult Fishing Derby will take place on Sunday, May 3, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. There is a small fee of $2 per rod, with a maximum of two rods per participant. All rod fees go directly back into the park to help replenish fish and support future events.

Bait will be available for purchase at the event, and the concession stand will be open with a variety of delicious items to choose from.

We hope you’ll join us for a great weekend of community, fresh air, and fishing.
