Hopewell Community Park

Hopewell Community Park Hopewell Community Park is located at 2500 Laird Drive, Aliquippa, PA 15001. The Park is 78 acres of primarily undeveloped woodlands, fields and wetlands.

Purchased in 1967, all recreation for the community is centralized at this site and is coordinated through the efforts of the Hopewell Park Board and Recreation Coordinator, under the auspices of the Board of Commissioners. The Park Board meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month at the Hopewell Township municipal building. General Directions: Route 376 West, exit at the Hopewell ramp. Bear right ont

o Rt. 151 Gr**go Road. Route 376 East, exit the Hopewell ramp, turn left onto Rt. 151 Gr**go Road. Travel East past the Hopewell Industrial Park. Approximately one mile turn left onto Kane Road. The easily accessible lake offers fishing. Children summer programs include Camp Lakewood and Rec-on-the-Run. Other park events include the Easter Egg Hunt in April, Fishing Derby in May, Park Fest in July, Labor Day Car Cruise and Bar-B-Que, and Chili Cook Off and Blues Fest in September, Fall Fest in October, and Visit with Santa in December. Volunteers for community events are encouraged to apply.

Join us on Monday, September 7 from 12–4 PM for our annual Labor Day Car Cruise at Hopewell Community Park. This end‑of‑summer tradition brings together great people, great cars, and a great afternoon in the park.
We’ll be handing out dash plaques to the first 200 cars, so arrive early if you’re showing your vehicle. Whether you’re bringing a classic, a custom build, or just coming to enjoy the day, there’s something for everyone.
It’s always a wonderful way to wrap up the summer season.

Join us on Saturday, September 19 from 12–8 PM for a full day of incredible blues music and mouth‑watering BBQ. Leave the cooking to our BBQ pros, and enjoy some of the best blues groups in the area while you relax in the park.

Calling All Vendors!
Hopewell Community Park is now seeking vendors for our annual Fall Fest, held on Saturday, October 17 from 10 AM–2 PM at Hopewell Community Park.

We have a small vendor fee, which includes a 10x10 tent space for the day.

The weather looks beautiful at the park this afternoon, and we’re all set for a great day of live music!

Join us today, August 22 for an amazing afternoon lineup:

La Femme Nouvelle takes the stage at 2:00 PM,
followed by The Jaggerz at 4:00 PM.

Hello everyone! Due to some potential unsettled weather on Saturday, the bands and Hopewell Community Park are adjusting the concert times to make sure we can enjoy the music before the rain arrives.

Hello Hopewell Community Park friends,

We want to share an important time update for our upcoming Jaggers Concert on Saturday, August 22. Due to the potential for bad weather later in the evening, we are adjusting the schedule so we can enjoy the performances before the rain moves in.

The Jaggers will now take the stage at 4:00 PM. La Femme Nouvelle will open the event at 2:00 PM and perform for one hour.

BBQ & Blues is back at Hopewell Community Park on Saturday, September 19, and we’re firing up the grills for another great year.

We’re looking for amateur and backyard BBQ cooks who are ready to show off their skills. Competitors can enter Chili, Chicken, or Ribs — or take on all three categories if you’re feeling bold.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners in each category.

Even if you’re not cooking, we invite you to join us for a day filled with great food, great music, and great company. It’s a perfect chance to enjoy the park with neighbors, friends, and family.
