The U12B squad, led by Coach Alex Gilbert and Asst. Coach Tom Pile, competed in the Beach Classic Tournament on February 21–22 and delivered an outstanding performance from start to finish.

The boys went undefeated in bracket play with dominant wins of 5-2, 3-0, and 1-0, earning their spot in the Championship match. Facing a strong EXTRA team in the final, they battled hard and rose to the challenge, securing an impressive 2-1 victory to claim the title!

🧤 Goalie Wars – All Stars Training

During the All Stars season at AYSO Region 60, goalkeeper training is offered to prepare our keepers for higher-level competition.

One of the most exciting and effective training activities is “Goalie Wars.”

Goalie Wars is a fast-paced, small-sided training game where:

Two goalkeepers face each other

Each defends their own goal

Players shoot from within their designated box

Keepers must make saves, distribute quickly, and try to score on their opponent

Thank you to the Bocanegra family for the video demonstrating this training activity!

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Congratulations to the U12B All Stars Section team on finishing strong with a 3rd place victory! 🥉⚽️

Led by Coach Alex Gilbert and Asst Coach Tom Pile, the boys had an outstanding season, earning the 2nd place seed through consistent hard work and determination.

In the semi-finals, they showed incredible heart. Down 1–3, they refused to quit—fighting back to tie the game in the final quarter and pushing it into double overtime and PKs before coming up short. While the loss was tough, their resilience spoke volumes about their character.

The team regrouped, refocused, and came back with skill, grit, and true teamwork to secure 3rd place. So proud of the way these boys competed all season long and represented their team with heart. The future is bright! 💪

AYSO Region 60 Grad Series Champions – STITCH F.C. 🏆⚽

STITCH F.C., led by Head Coach Jesse Arevalos and Asst. Coach Randa Hamden, finished the season undefeated and allowed only 3 goals all season.

Coach Jesse: This team trained with high intensity week in and week out — and it showed every single game day. Their discipline, heart, and commitment set them apart.

The future is bright for these young stars. ✨

It truly takes a village — and this season felt like family. Our parents were incredible, supportive every step of the way. And a special thank you to my three referee volunteers (which I never have — I’m usually the one reffing! 😄). Your willingness to step up made a huge difference.

We look forward to seeing these young athletes in the future and thank our volunteers for stepping up! You truly make a difference.
