National Ostomy Foundation Our mission is to support and enhance the lives of people living with bowel and urinary diversion surgeries through education, research and community.

The The National Ostomy Foundation was formed as a collaboration between two Ostomates and one very dedicated Caregiver. These Founders share common passion – to help Ostomates and their families THRIVE. Our logo is the North Star. For centuries, travelers have relied on the North Star for a safe journey to a NEW LAND. Ostomates and their families can follow the National Ostomy Foundation to a ful

filling life after Ostomy or Diversion surgery. The National Ostomy Foundation is a California Public Benefit 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit committed to supporting individual Ostomates, their Caregivers, Family Members and Survivor Support Groups. ALL Ostomates deserve the tools and information they need to reach their own level of success and vitality. Ostomy Foundation was formed as a collaboration between two Ostomates and one very dedicated Caregiver.
