2026 GTOAA PONTIAC MUSEUM REGIONAL
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th
Please note that for Safety Considerations due to current Courthouse renovations, the Courthouse lawn will not
be accessible. The sidewalks are open, but no setup on the lawn will be permitted.
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM REGISTRATION – FRONT OF PONTIAC/OAKLAND MUSEUM, 205 N. Mill
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PONTIAC/OAKLAND MUSEUM TOURS, 205 N. Mill
• 8:00 AM – NOON DOWNTOWN FARMERS MARKET – Located in Block 59
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM WAR MUSEUM TOURS, 321 N. Main
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ROUTE 66 MUSEUM TOURS, 110 W. Howard
• 10:00 AM- 4:00 PM MUSEUM OF THE GILDING ARTS TOURS, 217 N. Mill
• 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM PRIVATE COLLECTIONS CRUISE
o Cruise leaves from the City Parking Lot south of the Courthouse at 10:30 AM and proceeds out of
town to several Private Collections. A lunch stop is planned along the way.
• 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
o Historic Homes Tour can be accessed via the Jolley Trolley
• Jones House -- 314 W. Madison Street
• Strevell House – 401 W. Livingston Street
• Yost – 314 E. Madison Street
• 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM
o Cruise Night and Concert
• Join the local cruise night attendees at Humiston Riverside Park for a complimentary concert as
part of the “Summer Send Off” at the Band Shell. We are happy to say that “Johnny Russler and

Food options will be available for purchase.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th
• 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM REGISTRATION - FRONT OF PONTIAC/OAKLAND MUSEUM
• 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM ALL PONTIAC CAR SHOW - TOWN SQUARE
o There will be 24 classes of Pontiacs that will be on display around the Livingston County Courthouse in
Downtown Pontiac where participants will vote for their favorite Pontiac or GTO. There will be 3 Special
Awards: Kid’s Pick (by kids under 12 yrs. old), the Mayor’s Choice and the Museum’s Choice awards.
Awards at 2:00 pm.

ALL PONTIACS & GTO’S ON DISPLAY ARE REQUIRED TO PAY THE $30.00 2-DAY, OR $20.00 SUNDAY-ONLY FEE TO BE

We are planning to cruise to Pontiac IL for their annual GTOAA Regional All Pontiac Show. The show runs the weekend of Sept 19-20. Our club is planning to cruise to Pontiac on Sunday, September 20th. This will be a special show as they celebrate 100 years of Route 66!

If you haven't visited Pontiac, IL...this is a MUST DO event. The Pontiac Museum is outstanding and the town of Pontiac has many great sites to see including other museums and the famous wall murals.

Hello Cruisin' Tigers!

Please plan to join us at our next club meeting on Saturday, September 19th. We will recap our 2026 Indian Uprising show as well as discuss NEXT YEAR's show. Yes, the planning has already started! In addition we will discuss upcoming events, conduct our 50/50 raffle and see if we have a winner for our "Gotta be here" drawing. As the name implies, you have to be at the meeting to win the jackpot! The meeting will begin at 1:00 pm sharp.

As a reminder, after the 2025 Indian Uprising, many of show volunteers retired after giving many years of their service. For the show to keep strong, we need additional volunteers. Please consider becoming part of the 2027 show committee. We need new faces to help us keep the show fresh. Our show committee meets at 11:30 am prior to our normal club meetings. Volunteering does not require a lot of time out of your schedule. We have a great team and we do have fun! Please come join us!

If you are a new member in the area, we would love for you to come out and join us at our meeting!

Mr Beef and Pizza is located at 1796 Elmhurst Road in Mt Prospect, IL.

The Cruisin Tigers will be cruising down to Pontiac on Sunday, September 20th. We will meet at the Dunkin in Huntley on Route 47 at 8am and leave by 8:15am.

Hello Cruisin' Tigers!

For those of you who attended the 2026 Indian Uprising, we hope that you enjoyed the show. We had some fabulous Pontiacs on the show field and in the indoor arena. Thank you for your participation! The Class of 68 was OUTSTANDING this year. We hope that you had a chance to hear them.

A BIG shout out goes to all the volunteers that helped with this year's show. The show is a tremendous undertaking to say the least. THANK YOU IF YOU DONATED YOUR TIME! Over the past few years, we have lost many more volunteers than we gained. For the show to keep strong, we need additional volunteers. Please consider becoming part of next year's show committee. We need new faces to help us keep the show fresh. Our show committee meets at 11:30 am prior to our normal club meetings. Volunteering does not require a lot of time out of your schedule. If you submitted your Indian Uprising votes using the mobile ballot this year, please reply to this email and let me know your feedback. We appreciate that you gave the new voting method a try. It made for a much quicker vote tabulation at the end of the show.

To give our Uprising volunteers a much needed rest, there will be NO CLUB MEETING THIS SATURDAY, AUGUST 15TH. Save the date of Saturday, September 19th for our next club meeting. We will be back at Mr Beef and Pizza.
