Good Morning Cruisers

The Shriners Cruise-In will be Saturday, July 12th, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm, downtown Algona. The weather forecast on Saturday is excellent!

Mojo Productions will provide music from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. We will have drawings for gift certificates to Algona restaurants — in fact, there will be 22 drawings! Dash Plaques will be provided to all participants.

So, get those vehicles ready and “cruise” in when your schedule permits. Let’s have a great turnout. I hope to see many of you on Saturday. ~ Tom

Hello Cruisers!

It’s time for our first Car Cruise of the season tonight! We will depart from Chrome Truck Stop at 5:30 pm and “cruise” to Humboldt with dinner at 716 Main restaurant. Payment options are Cash, Credit Cards, and Checks. There will be a 10 donation per vehicle with all moneys going to Shriners Children's Hospital.

The set menu for this cruise is as follows:

* Burger/Cheese Burger with fries

* Pork Loin Sandwich, grilled or breaded, with fries

* Chicken Sandwich, grilled or breaded, with fries

* Surf & Turf, 6 oz. sirloin with grilled shrimp, with green beans and choice of baked or mashed potatoes

* Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Pasta tossed with homemade Alfredo, peppers, onions and mushrooms

* Balsamic glazed Salmon, grilled Salmon on a bed of rice, topped with balsamic reduction and sautéed vegetable medley

Get those vehicles ready to roll. Let’s have a great turnout. Invite a friend. I am looking forward to our 9th year of cruises and hope to see many of you on this cruise.

Our final Car Cruise of the season will be tonight Wednesday, September 25th. We will depart from Chrome Truck Stop at 5:30 pm and “cruise” the Nursing Homes. Dinner will be at AK's Chrome Kitchen. Payment options at this restaurant are Cash, Checks, and Credit Cards.

Amanda plans on having Chicken Buffett with the option of ordering off the menu as well!

So, get those vehicles ready to roll. The residents at the Nursing Homes really enjoy seeing the vehicles so let’s give them a show! Let’s have another great turnout. Invite a friend!

Good Evening Everyone!!!

Our next Car Cruise will occur tomorrow Wednesday, August 28th. We will depart from Chrome Truck Stop corner at 5:30PM and “cruise” to West Bend with dinner at Double L Saloon & Wagon Wheel. Payment options at this restaurant are Cash, Checks, and Credit Cards. There will be a $10 donation per vehicle with all money going to Shriners Children's Hospital.

There is a set menu for this cruise and all meals are served with salad bar and baked potato The menu options are:

* Fried Shrimp

* Ribeye Steak

* Broasted Chicken (2 piece)

* Breaded Tenderloin Sandwich

* Hamburger or Cheeseburger

Good Morning.

WOW, what a fantastic cruise!

There were a total of 33 vehicles, 62 people, and we raised $450.00 for Shriners Children's Hospital. Thanks to everyone who “cruised” to Thompson. I thought The Branding Iron-Thompson, IA did a great job and the food was excellent. From the comments I heard, we should schedule them for a return visit!

Our next cruise will be on July 24, and we will cruise to Thor with dinner at Unkies Entertainer Restaurant and Lounge. More information on this cruise will be sent out at a later date.

This is a reminder that the Kossuth Shrine Club will sponsor Friday July 12th 2024 Shriners Cruise-In 4th Annual Cruise-In. This event will be held in downtown Algona, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm. Good Morning!

Our next Car Cruise will occur on Wednesday, June 26. We will depart from Chrome Truck Stop Corner at 5:30 pm, and “cruise” to have dinner at The Branding Iron-Thompson, IA. This restaurant accepts Cash, Checks and Credit Cards. There will be a $10 donation per vehicle with all moneys going to Shriner’s Hospital.

The set menu for this cruise is:

Ground Round (Special of the Night)
Ribeye Steak (14 oz)
Sirloin Steak (10 oz)
Butterfly Shrimp (6 Shrimp)
Seafood Combo (Cod, Shrimp, Scallops)
Salad Bar only

All entrees served with Baked Potato, Salad Bar, and Texas Toast.

So, get those vehicles ready to roll. This will be our longest cruise of the season so get those gas tanks filled up! Let’s have another great turnout. Invite a friend!

WOW, what a fantastic cruise!

There were a total of 33 vehicles, 62 people, and we raised $363.31 for Shriners Children's Hospital. Thanks to everyone who “cruised” to Humboldt. I thought Pasquale's Pizza - The Restaurant did a great job and the food was excellent.

Our next cruise will be on June 26, and we will cruise to Thompson with dinner at The Branding Iron-Thompson, IA. More information on this cruise will be sent out at a later date.

New Topics

On June 5th, the Algona Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring “Party in the Park,” from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. This event will be held on Nebraska Street between Moore and Dodge Streets. The Chamber is hoping that many of us will bring our car, truck, tractor, etc. Put the date on your calendar. I will send out a reminder in the near future.

On Friday, July 12th, the Kossuth Shrine Club will sponsor its 4th annual “Shriners Cruise-In”. This event will be held in downtown Algona, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm. Bring your car, truck, tractor, or bike. Put the date on your calendar and “cruise-in” as your schedule permits. This event is held in conjunction with Founder’s Day Celebrations.

Lost and Found. Someone lost a hubcap in the parking lot at Pasquale’s. It is bronze/brown in color and is 9” diameter. I have this hubcap at home. Give me call at 641-390-1623 to claim.
