Community Main Street is deeply saddened by the loss of Gary Kelley, a remarkable artist and a familiar, friendly face in our downtown. Gary’s creativity left a lasting mark on our community, but so did the simple, everyday moments. He was part of the rhythm of this place in a way that won’t be forgotten. With his studio being located downtown since the 90’s, his presence and influence have long been woven into the fabric of this district.

As we share this beautiful painting he created of the old train depot, we’re reminded of the way he saw and celebrated our community through his art. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who were touched by his work and his presence.
