Algona Morwens Kiwanis The Algona Morwens Kiwanis Club is a service club that meets each Wednesday at 7 a.m. at the AK Chrome Kitchen, 1323 Hwy 169 North in Algona. Come join us.

Algona Morwens Kiwanis have chosen you to be a member of our great organization. That’s right, we pick you. You want to make new friends and have an impact on our great community. You’ll make those connections with Kiwanis and get involved in projects that change lives. Our mission is “serving the children of the world.” By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.

When you give a child the chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, succeed and thrive, great things happen. Algona Morwens Kiwanis sponsor a variety of programs – from a bicycle safety to a fishing derby, from peanut sales to dictionary distribution, from pumpkin decorating to the Founders' Day Talent Show. Morwens is the Old English word for "Early Morning", and and we invite you to Rise to the challenge and join us at our regular meeting each Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. at the AK Chrome Kitchen at 1323 Hwy 169 North in Algona, Iowa.
