The 2026–2027 school year is officially underway!! 📚

There’s always something exciting about the start of a new school year. New opportunities, new goals, new memories and another year of learning and growing together.

We’re especially proud of the teachers, faculty and staff who continue to provide an excellent educational experience for all of our Algoma students, from elementary through middle and high school. It’s also wonderful to see familiar faces return to our schools, this time as teachers and staff, giving back to the community they once called their own. 💛🐺

Wishing all of our students, teachers, staff and families a wonderful school year ahead! Here’s to a great year in Algoma! 💛

A little Shanty Days photo dump! 💙

There’s something pretty special about seeing so many generations of our community come together to celebrate Algoma.

From the middle school band and AHS band to youth football and our Wolves mascot, Shanty Days in Algoma was a great reminder of the people who make this community and our schools so special.

We’re proud to support the students who are growing up here and excited to see where they go next. 💙

Shanty Days = the unofficial AHS class reunion. 💙

One of our favorite parts of Shanty Days in Algoma is seeing old friends, catching up with classmates, and reconnecting with people you haven’t seen in way too long.

And since we’re getting ready to do just that, we thought we’d bring back a little Swing for Scholarships fun. ⛳

What a week it's been! 💙⛳

As we reflect on the return of the Swing for Scholarships Golf Outing, we're filled with an abundance of gratitude.

After a seven-year hiatus and with a board made up mostly of new members who weren't involved with the previous outings, we weren't sure what to expect but our community showed up in an incredible way. ❤️ Thanks to our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, donors, and supporters, we are thrilled to share that more than $8,500 was raised for student scholarships!!!

The day couldn't have been more perfect. Beautiful weather, friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and the opportunity to reconnect with so many familiar faces made for an unforgettable event. It was especially meaningful to welcome back so many Algoma High School alumni. More than half of our golfers were alumni, with graduating classes represented from 1966 through 2024. Seeing generations come together to support today's students is exactly what this event is all about.

From fun course challenges like Anything But a Putter to trying our disc golf hole (which brought back plenty of memories of Mr. Graf's PE class), there were smiles all around. Whether you came to compete, reconnect, volunteer, or simply support the cause, you helped make this event something truly special.

Once again, to every sponsor, volunteer, golfer, donor, supporter, and to the wonderful team at Northbrook-Golf & Grill, THANK YOU. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on Algoma students for years to come.

One of the most exciting things we heard throughout the day was, “We'll be back next year!" We couldn't be happier to say...
