Whew! It's been another busy week at ESI ...

MyCommunity Program participants enjoyed several fun outings, including a visit to UW-Green Bay to see "Intrude", an art display set up near the The Weidner center featuring four enormous inflatable bunnies. They also explored the train exhibits at the National Railroad Museum, enjoyed a relaxing visit to Positive Sensory in Sturgeon Bay, road the Zippin Pippin at Bay Beach, and picked up some produce from Sully's Produce.

We also held our annual meeting, where clients and the ESI Board of Directors came together to reflect on the past year and share valuable feedback. Afterward, we celebrated with our country-and-western-themed ESI Summer Party, featuring lunch, games, crafts, and a special visit from the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary in Green Bay.

We wrapped up the week with a Baby Sprinkle in honor of Liz and Baby S! Everyone has had fun guessing the baby’s arrival date, size, and more. We are all excited and patiently waiting to welcome the newest member of the ESI family. 🩷💙

It’s game day! The Green Bay Packers take the field tonight in Pittsburgh for their first preseason matchup, and we’re excited to kick off another season of football. Last week, several MyCommunity program groups got into the spirit early by attending Packers Training Camp sessions and experiencing the excitement, teamwork, and community pride that make this time of year so special. Go Pack Go! 💚💛

Did you know you can experience blacksmithing right here in Kewaunee County? Every Friday through October from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Agricultural Heritage and Resources Center in Kewaunee offers demonstrations and plenty to explore.

One of our day service programs recently visited and enjoyed learning about everything the center offers. During their visit, they toured a one-room schoolhouse and stopped to watch a blacksmithing demonstration—an almost-lost art in our area.

ESI’s Explore Summer Day Camp offers a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals of all abilities, ages 14–21, can explore new activities, make friends, build confidence, and feel a true sense of community.
