Hey neighbors! I have an updated Alger Community Food Bank needs list to share. We had the busiest distribution day yesterday! We are so appreciative of all the donations received. It makes such a positive impact.

Current needs:
Spam
Tuna
Cream of mushroom soup
Alfredo sauce
Bread
Canned green beans
Hamburger helper
Egg noodles
Pasta
Cake mixes
Cereal
Oatmeal
Canned/boxed milk
Canned peas
Mayo

The next distribution day is Tuesday, September 1st 10am-2pm. You can drop off donations then or contact Anette (360-724-0340) to arrange another time that works better. Thank you so much!

Alger Community Food Bank would love extra fruits and veggies from your garden! Produce grown by the community is such a wonderful addition to the food bank offerings. We've received carrots, kale, winter squash, lettuce and more. Thank you so much!

The food bank will be open during the Sunday Market for folks to take what they need from Amy's Closet. We kindly ask that you give what you can.

Alger Community Food Bank could use some help at the Alger Sunday Market yard sale this Sunday, July 12th (10am-3pm). We could also use help getting ready for the event. We're planning a work party at the food bank this Friday, July 10th @ 10am! We'll be sorting through donations, organizing Amy's Closet & cleaning. Contact Anette if you're interested in helping!
