We are excited to announce that you will soon see improvements to the United North Playground! Due to our fundraising efforts the past few years, some grants, donations, and the Board of Education, we will be updating our playground this summer.
In order for the exciting transformation to take place, we will be closing the playground for the summer for safety concerns. Please bear with us during these few months. The sacrifice will be worth the wait!
We would like to thank the following: Pattee Foundation, United School District, United North community and PTO, Girl Scouts Troop #2682, Ben Corben Memorial, Zion Lutheran Church, and Bertelsen Farms for helping to make this possible.
Updates include a fence along the West side of the playground, extending the mulch area and adding more equipment, and a walking path around the playground.
We are excited for these updates for the students and the community. Please help spread the word so those attending baseball and softball games this summer will plan accordingly. Construction will start the first week of June. Thank you!
