Ken Clear is a recording artist, motivational speaker, and author whose mission is to help people discover their purpose and believe they were created to accomplish the impossible. Whether performing onstage or speaking to hundreds of students, his goal remains the same: inspire people to activate the greatness within them.
Clear’s journey began long before music and motivational speaking. As a high school MVP, he learned valuable lessons about leadership, discipline, teamwork, and self-belief. Those early experiences helped shape his conviction that circumstances do not get the final say in a person’s story—and that being different can become one’s greatest strength.
For Clear, the most rewarding part of his work is watching lives change. Students have told him, “I didn’t know I could see myself that way until today,” while educators have credited him with reaching young people they had struggled to reach. Those moments capture the heart of his mission: helping the next generation believe bigger, embrace their identity, and live purposefully.
Ken Clear has homes both in Alexandria and New Orleans and for eight years, he has traveled back and forth between the two. With one of his business headquarters located in Alexandria, he is building, creating, working, and investing throughout Central Louisiana. He values Cenla’s people, culture, small businesses, and close-knit community spirit.
Looking ahead, Clear hopes to see stronger collaboration among schools, businesses, churches, nonprofits, creatives, and community leaders. He believes that when Cenla works together, it can create lasting opportunities and transform an entire generation. For him, Cenla’s greatest strength is clear: its people are its heartbeat.
