Today, we celebrate the heart of our schools — our families, caregivers, Family Liaisons, and dedicated staff who make ACPS a place where every family feels welcomed, supported, and valued.

🎒✨ Getting ready for Back-to-School in Alexandria! ✨🎒

📅 Saturday, August 9, 2025 — 3 FREE community events with backpacks, supplies, food, and fun!

🕙 10 a.m.–3 p.m. | Shiloh Baptist Church
📌 1401 Duke St, Alexandria
📚 Supplies, haircuts, food, and games. First come, first served.

🕐 1 p.m.–5 p.m. | UNCUT Youth – Waterfront Park
📌 1A Prince St, Alexandria
🎒 Over 1,000 students will receive supplies, food, raffles, and access to the pool.

🎒 2,000 backpacks with supplies + 🍕 free food. Register in advance!
