It's A Mike Thing

Robert Michael "Mike" Thomas left us on May 18, 2025. The day before a medical procedure was scheduled we hoped would help keep him with us much longer. We celebrated his life with several hundred friends, family, community members and strangers; a testament to the number of people that he loved and influenced in some way. at he has left. We do not want that legacy to end. As we began talking about the many things he did, such as buying meals for strangers; always sharing in conversation; being a listening ear and giver of advice; we were told a week or so after his service of a a good tip being left for a local business person. When asking the patron about it, the response was simply "It's a Mike Thing"....a lightbulb went off and what we hope is a movement of kindness, building relationships and improving our community began to take shape.
